This post is sleepy, and went to bed.
Come and cuddle up.

Building my writing career. One carefree, painless step at a time - I swear. My hair even improves in the process. That's karma for you, ladies and gents.

While I am in the shower, I write the best, funniest, most captivating queries. Then as soon as I sit down in front of the computer, POOF! it all escapes me and I write a stiff boring one. So, what I do is I write it and give it to a friend who is (also a writer) but she has great letter-writing skills. She is in my critique group too, which really helps, because she not only knows me AND my winning personality, but she also knows my book almost as well as I do.
I totally recommend, if you are in a critique group, submitting queries for critique just as much as pages. In some ways, your query's critique is more important than your pages.
Thank you for your link to my blog Me, a writer of movie scripts. I have added a link to yours. Your blog looks interesting.
Thanks Sheri. That's actually really good advice. I like collaborating, so I think I'll bring my queries to my next writers workshop.
